I’m officially a legal landed immigrant in the USA! I need to make it clear however, that this does NOT mean that I am American. I am Canadian through and through! I just happen to be residing in the US.

Wednesday May 10th, Shawn and I headed into Chicago and after about an hour and a half of waiting, had the interview. It went well and I now have a stamp in my passport that shows I can legally leave and reenter the US. So of course, that evening I booked my flight home. I’m flying New Orleans to Vancouver on May 23rd. I’m so excited. Shawn will be joining me a week or so later. I can’t wait to get back on Canadian soil. I’m going to have some Tim Hortons Chocolate chip muffins, have real slurpees and shop with my Ma! I can’t wait to visit with my family and friends! So, if you are in the Vancouver area and want to hang out…let us know!
