It’s (gonna be) a boy!!!
We are sooooooooooo excited! When we first got to the ultrasound this morning, I wasn’t sure I really wanted to know what sex the baby was…but I told the technician that we only wanted to know if she was certain (like 95% sure or higher). I would rather it be a surprise than have the tech. say they are 75% sure that it’s a boy. Well, she was 98% sure, and from the ultrasound pics, I’m pretty sure he wanted us to know. He was not shy! Anyway, for the last couple of weeks I’ve been positive it was a girl. And I think just because of that, Shawn started saying he thought we were going to have a boy, he was right. But as we’ve said all along, as long as we have a baby at the end of this, we’re happy. The doctor said that the baby looked really healthy and they are keeping the due date at August 14th. They also said that I’m doing much better. This pregnancy is finally back to “normal”. So all in all, it was an awesome visit to the doctor. We left reassured and excited about preparing for our first son. (we’re keeping the name is a secret until he’s born, we wanted something to be a surprise!)

Another terrific Kelley boy!!! We are so excited!! Of course, you know we’d be excited either way!

WOW! is right!
We are really thrilled with this additional news. Although either is super, it is always GREAT to start off with a boy. Let’s see . . . a baseball bat for first birthday, a football for the second, . . .
Where is the follow-up photo of you, Danielle? You need to keep all of the world up to date with your progress!
Love ya all,
Dad K

I am very happy to hear that things are going well for you Danielle, trust me, the second trimester is great. I have so much energy. A little advice, take advantage of all the time and energy you have to get things done.
Shawn! I can’t believe you are going to be a daddy in 4 months! Way to go.
