Tonight we received word from both sets of friends who are currently in Thailand, that they are safe. We received word from Ben and Ashleigh via email that they were doing fine – there was damage to their resort, but they are safe. We were most concerned (not to say were any less concerned about Laura and Jeremy!) about Ben and Ashleigh because Ashleigh is currently ~4 months pregnant.

Laura and Jeremy wrote us a quick email to let us know that they were fine, and directed us to their blog – "the places we go" – for more details. Sounds like it was quite an experience, and a very close call for them.

We’re continuing to keep everyone else in our prayers – there are countless other friends and families that won’t hear such good news.
